Dr Nonso Nnamoko works in higher education as a lecturer in computer science. Growing up in an affluent Christian family renowned for their philanthropic work, he was taught from a very young age, the importance of humility and promoting the welfare of others.

Nonso studied in Nigeria up to Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He was aware of his family’s fortune but did not consider it particularly unusual or understand that it excluded him from certain adversity; until, of course he left Nigeria to continue his studies in the United Kingdom. There he encountered a new world of privilege that reframed his life as less than. Determined to achieve his vocational ambitions, he took up various jobs to fund his MSc degree in Computing and Information System; and PhD in Artificial Intelligence. The experience however, left him keen to help people overcome disadvantage and achieve their potentials; hence the Foundation.
